Architectural photography has always been at the heart of Ali Kabas's professional practice for nearly three decades.
Based in Istanbul and Miami, Ali Kabas collaborates with architects, interior designers, and developers to create clean, timeless imagery that captures the essence of architecture through thoughtful composition and light.
His goal is to produce photographs that faithfully represent design intent while revealing the character and experience of each space.
Every commission is approached with careful planning and a clear understanding of the client’s objectives—whether the photographs are intended for international publications, architectural awards, competitions, or marketing and corporate communications.
By combining natural light with carefully controlled lighting when needed, Kabas strives to represent materials, proportions, spatial relationships with accuracy and authenticity.
Influenced by his background in fine art photography, he approaches every project with an emphasis on clarity, precision, and visual balance, creating images that are both aesthetically compelling and true to the architecture.
Kabas's appreciation for architecture and design began long before his photography career. His family’s company, Artepe, represented distinguished international furniture design brands—including Tresserra, Giorgetti, Saporiti, Edra, and Ceccotti—for many years, giving him an early and lasting connection to the world of architecture, craftsmanship, and timeless design.
